This shoot was set in a staged classroom backdrop, featuring the blackboard inscribed with 'Galactic Baseball Cram School'. To make the setting feel authentic, I specifically adjusted the chalk layout, setting the time from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM to instantly evoke that after-school tutoring ambiance.

The core of the shoot revolved around refining makeup and poses. The wig featured long silver-grey waves with mint-green highlights; to create that airy 2D feel, I used a curling iron to shape the waves, thinned out the bangs, and paired it with a grey headband and leaf hair ornament on the side, ensuring the wig hugged the head naturally without looking bulky. The eye makeup used purplish-red eyeshadow and colored contacts, with blush applied slightly higher and more vividly than everyday makeup to convey an energetic, slightly playful look on camera.

For the JK uniform, a white collared shirt was layered with a grey vest, and the mint-green bow tie at the chest echoed the color at the ends of my hair. The lower half paired a grey, yellow, and white plaid pleated skirt with white over-the-knee socks. This combination is classic in a classroom scene. The White stockings fit snugly, visually flattering the leg lines, but required care to prevent the band from pinching the skin. I smoothed the socks evenly before shooting, shifting between standing and seated poses to ensure clean, fluid lines.

For the first shot, I sat on the desk edge with one foot resting on an adjacent chair. Balancing this pose was tricky—one hand braced the desk while the other tapped my cheek; though it looks effortless, my back had to stay firmly upright. The advantage was letting one leg extend naturally to highlight the layered depth of the socks and pleated skirt, while evoking a slightly mischievous high school student vibe. To complement the notebook and drink bottle on the desk, I locked eyes with the camera for an interactive feel.

For the second shot, I shifted to a side-sitting pose, turning my torso toward the camera with fists clenched gently in front of my chest. This pose emphasized sweet docility, allowing the skirt to flare naturally and reveal the structured pleating. To keep facial lighting balanced, I coordinated closely with the photographer, ensuring soft, even light illuminated my face to keep the makeup clear and create a crisp contrast between the green blackboard and white socks.

Rather than highlighting combat readiness, this shoot aimed to capture another facet of the character within an everyday tutoring scenario. From pre-shoot wig styling and makeup tweaks to on-set posture adjustments and wardrobe control, every detail mattered—a true reflection of the learning curve in cosplay photography.
