[Cifera Cosplay] The Cat-Eared Look in Honkai: Star Rail

Shooting this Cifera cosplay, my biggest impression was how fantastic this black-gold-blue costume looked on camera. The gear is packed with details, such as the blue-purple orbs on the shoulders, the blue patterns and gold piping on the hood, and the wig is also crucial—long silver hair paired with cute plush cat ears and blue contact lenses completely transformed my aura.

Because the outfit incorporates a lot of leather materials, along with thigh straps and leg armor, the whole ensemble has a substantial weight to it. Putting it on required some effort to adjust everything so the metal buckles on the shoulders and waist were securely fastened. Being able to move joints freely while shooting was very important, especially with the white sleeves and black gloves, which created a distinct sense of ceremony when moving.

For makeup, to match the character's deep, piercing gaze, I used a clear, translucent foundation and vivid red lips, looking very radiant on camera. The angle in the third photo—bending sideways to showcase the thigh styling—really tested waist strength, but to best highlight the costume's presentation, I adjusted the pose several times before finalizing it. Compared to standing poses, this side-profile composition better flatters the lines of the legs and waist; though tiring to hold, the resulting shot is exceptionally cool.

The entire shooting process went very smoothly with well-adjusted lighting, yielding great raw shots that needed little post-editing. Posing indoors in this outfit made me truly appreciate the thoughtful design: the black-gold-blue palette exudes high-end texture, and the cat ears and spiky hair fit the character setting perfectly. Finishing the complete set felt like fulfilling a personal wish; it was a deeply rewarding experience and taught me valuable insights on how to showcase costume highlights.
