This time shooting the Honkai: Star Rail Cerydra cosplay photo set, the overall complexity and heavy feel were much greater than I expected. Starting from makeup and styling, to fit the character's design, just the wig took nearly two hours to style. The silver-white base color plus light blue highlights, along with straight bangs and long sideburns on both cheeks, and finally dealing with the braided hair on the left forehead and that asymmetrical metal crown. The cyan-blue gemstone on the crown had to be handled carefully during installation to avoid scratching, as the material is quite brittle. Blue contact lenses combined with red eyeshadow smudging took two adjustments to achieve a satisfactory effect.

The costume part is the highlight this time. The expanded width of the cloak is very exaggerated; the royal blue base color plus that circle of white fluff on the edge makes it particularly prone to overexposure when lighting in the studio. On site, I kept communicating with photographer Xiao Z about the light positions, trying to preserve the details of the fur collar as much as possible. The top is a sleeveless high-neck, and the cyan-blue tulle at the neckline and the pink ribbon shield brooch on the chest need to fit completely flat. The detachable sleeves have black and white diamond patterns and golden jagged borders, ensuring freedom of movement for the arms when wearing them. The black leather corset at the waist is cinched very tightly, but for the visual effect, it is all worth it.

The skirt hem of the lower body has numerous layers, with the outer layer being an irregularly cut royal blue skirt and the inner layer being a white pleated skirt decorated with pink lines. Since the right leg wears black over-the-knee stockings with golden patterns while the left leg is bare, when posing, I had to constantly calculate the landing point of the skirt hem so as not to block the leg lines while ensuring the fabric presents a nice fan shape. That pair of dark green high-heeled short boots on my feet, with the golden heels matching the white and blue geometric lines, has great texture, but standing for a long time is indeed tiring.

In terms of props, the scepter feels very good in hand, and the crystal and feather-like structures at the top are very photogenic in front of the lens. Chess elements are the soul of this shoot; the black and white chessboard grid combined with scattered blue and golden pieces made it easier for me to immerse myself in the state of Caesar. Especially sitting in front of the chessboard, holding a chess piece, or holding the scepter while spreading the cloak, that majestic aura of a superior naturally emerged.

The studio background is pure white and light gray, paired with white Roman columns, making the overall picture very clean and completely highlighting the color saturation of the clothing. During the shooting process, to capture the dynamic of the cloak spreading, a fan was also borrowed on site. At that moment, the cloak's fur collar and hem fluttered, matching my stern expression, and the shutter sound on site kept ringing. There is also another picture interacting with another creator dressed in a black-and-purple color scheme, with the two confronting each other at opposite ends of the chessboard, resembling a game between two opposing forces.

Recording these important battles in Caesar's life, writing up to the end of conquest. This photo set tried its best to stay close to the design in terms of clothing details and expressions; thanks to the photographer for capturing it, and thanks to this gorgeous outfit, allowing me to experience a game belonging to a superior.
