[Cifera Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail's Cat-Eared Girl

To match the overall undertone of the character setting this time, a lot of thought went into the clothing material selection and hairstyle creation. The silver-white wig was thinned out in natural layers and paired with a dark blue cat-eared hood, which both preserves the character's mysterious temperament and adds a touch of vivid spirit.

The main body of the costume, a black patchwork leather jacket, demands high luster quality. During studio shoots, I needed to constantly adjust my positioning based on the light placement to avoid overexposed highlights in certain areas. The gold badges and decorations on the neck and chest, in terms of texture and three-dimensionality, beautifully elevate the refinement of the overall look. The gloves and cuffs feature a blue-and-white color-blocked design, providing a great brightening effect amidst the large areas of dark color.

The most physically demanding part of this shoot was actually that pair of knee-high stiletto boots. The bronze material features raised geometric textures on the surface, which, combined with the bright blue color-blocking on the soles, gives a very strong sense of weight visually. Wearing them to squat on a white Roman column or stand on one leg required keeping my core stabilized at all times. Aside from the clothing, the drape of the ribbons and the curve of the tail are also keys to the natural look of the final photos. Trying various poses during the shoot—such as a squatting pose waving hello and open stretching movements—directly demonstrated how well this outfit's tailoring accommodates physical activity.

Utilizing a clean, pure white seamless background for the photography maximizes the strong visual impact of the black-and-gold contrast, preventing an overly flashy background from stealing the focus from the character herself. This time, beyond recreating the character entity, the more important aspect was to completely present the details of the cosplay outfit on camera. Discussing composition and lighting ratios with the photographer on set felt incredibly smooth as part of this studio photoshoot daily life. I hope everyone can feel the craftsmanship and ingenuity behind the production of this costume, as well as the attempt to recreate the essence of the character from these photos.
