This piece involved a lot of research from costume to setting, and today I can finally share the final photos of my Pearl cosplay with everyone.

The overall styling mainly revolves around a blue-and-white palette, aiming to restore the character's aloof, otherworldly temperament. The outfit features many intricate details: the main body adopts a pure white asymmetrical cut, accented with black geometric linework ties across the chest and waist, breaking the monochrome simplicity and adding visual depth. The sleeves boast broad ruffle designs, while the lower hem merges gradient chiffon ribbons flowing from light blue to sea blue and cherry blossom pink—a lightweight fabric that creates beautiful motion whether sitting still or walking.

For lower-body styling, this set specifically incorporates translucent White tights styling with delicate dark hollow patterns extending down from the thighs. Paired with pure white pointed stiletto heels, it renders the lower-body contour noticeably slender and elegant. For makeup and hair, I wore a platinum-blonde long wavy wig, styled with layered airiness, paired with ice-blue contact lenses, a clear cool-toned eye makeup look, and a blue teardrop-shaped gem ornament resting on the forehead, aiming to precisely capture the character's spirit.

Setting up the photoshoot venue was a point I felt particularly satisfied with. The team arranged abundant blue and white floral arrangements on site—including hydrangeas and roses—staggered naturally all around. Props in the scene such as white Roman columns, angel statues, and classical harps laid a high-key, holy temple foundation for the visual framing. In particular, the reflective flooring clearly mirrored contours of flowers and steps during the shoot; this was a visual effect I specifically requested to retain, enhancing spatial depth and engineering a shimmering, dreamlike atmosphere.

Light control on the shooting day was key. To complement the costume's pure colors, lighting utilized a high-key diffuse reflection technique, leaving large bright areas unshadowed to guarantee overall frame transparency. When shooting reclining poses, the camera angle was set diagonally overhead, leveraging floor reflections to create a mirror-like illusion. Outdoor strobe lights illuminated face and skirt hem, combining with petal highlights to establish a distinctly ethereal and cool tone. Compared to the dignified seated pose, I prefer the reclining photo, as the arc of the spread-out skirt is remarkably beautiful, showcasing the fabric's textures and layers most completely.

Although there were minor hiccups along the way—such as repeatedly adjusting flowers laid on the ground to avoid pressing against the skirt hem and causing a wardrobe malfunction—the final photo quality exceeded expectations. Having engaged in cosplay for so many years, every character presentation is a co-creation between my team and me. This journey from concept to physical object, and finally freezing it before the lens, brings me an immense sense of accomplishment. I feel this blue-and-white Classical fantasy style carries strong distinctiveness, and I hope you can feel the heart and mind I poured into this work.
