This set of March 7th cosplay photos comes from a recent shoot in a blue-toned artificially decorated studio. To restore the dynamic charm of the character from Honkai: Star Rail, I chose a fresh outfit and makeup combination. The inner layer is a white collared shirt decorated with buttons at the chest and collar, while a black choker adds a touch of delicacy to the overall look. The outer layer features light blue wide bell sleeves that feel visually airy and allow great freedom of movement. The lower body uses a short skirt with a deep and light blue and black color scheme, featuring white patterns and ribbon details along the edges. This outfit offers high mobility and supports dynamic postures wonderfully. My legs are decorated with white knee guards paired with white boots at the bottom, creating a harmonious visual unity with the overall blue and white color scheme.
The set design was executed with great care. Deep blue ambient light shines from the background, creating a dreamy and profound forest ambiance. White flowers and foliage of varying heights are arranged all around, with a striking white wrought-iron birdcage on the right and a transparent white bird prop resting underneath, infusing the scene with a sense of fantasy storytelling. In my hands, I hold the character's iconic black-and-white pole prop; during shooting, I leaned my body forward and bent one leg, utilizing a diagonal composition to enhance visual tension. The white curved structure on the prop blends seamlessly into the environment without disrupting the scene's color balance.
Regarding makeup and hair, I wore a light pink short wig styled with natural layers, paired with large-diameter light-colored cosmetic lenses to make my gaze look more expressive and energetic. The base makeup featured a clean and translucent texture without excess colors, preserving facial three-dimensionality under cool-toned lighting. During the shoot, the photographer guided me through several angles to maintain even facial illumination while showcasing the character's confident and lively side. In post-processing color grading, I deliberately controlled the proportion of blue and white, slightly reducing environmental contrast so cool tones wouldn't be overly dark, while preserving flower and leaf details to give the entire palette a soft, dreamlike feel. This indoor set shoot experience in Cosplay photography was truly wonderful, allowing me to present this character's unique temperament through my own interpretation.
