For this session, the character I'm portraying is Kotone Fujita from Gakuen Idolmaster, choosing her highly iconic color-blocked sports jacket and inner T-shirt. The jacket's blue, pink, and white color scheme looks exceptionally refreshing under natural light, while the yellow T-shirt inside and the purple pleated plaid skirt perfectly echo Kotone's lively yet slightly unique temperament. As for the hairstyle, I deliberately made the bangs and the braids on both sides fluffy and natural, embellished with pearl hairpins, trying to recreate her approachable, girl-next-door friendliness. During the shoot, we chose an indoor spot by the window, utilizing the diffused light coming from outside to make the overall frame look soft and translucent without feeling too heavy. Actually, every time I participate in cosplay photography, I hope to get as close to the character's expressions as possible; this time, I specifically mimicked her slightly playful and confident little gestures in the poses, hoping to convey Kotone's energetic vibe. From the selection of clothing fabrics and the precision of the prints to the trimming and styling of the wig, a lot of preparation went into every detail beforehand. Although outdoor shooting heavily tests physical strength and condition, being able to present my favorite character's idol outfit in this way makes the whole process full of a sense of achievement. I hope everyone can feel Kotone Fujita's hardworking and cheerful unique charm through this set of photos representing her 2D daily life, and fellow fans are more than welcome to exchange thoughts and insights about this character.
