This shooting scene is set in a retro bar. To fit August von Parseval's temperament, I put a lot of effort into the styling. The wig was chosen as a grayish light purple long straight hair, treated with a high crown effect, paired with black-and-silver mechanical horn headpieces with a metallic texture on both sides, as well as specially prepared elf pointy ears, establishing the overall silhouette.
The details of the costume are very rich. The silver sequined halter dress surface is distributed with reflective circular pieces and floral decorations, and the metal chain cross-cutout on the chest is the highlight of this styling. To balance the cold and rigid feeling of the metal and skin, white plush shawls were draped over both arms, visually increasing the layers. In terms of makeup, eyeshadow used a reddish-pink smudging, matched with upturned eyeliner, so the gaze naturally carries that condescending sense of scrutiny.
During the shoot, the warm yellow overhead lights of the bar formed a great contrast with the dark wooden wine cabinet. In the second picture, I am sitting sideways on the bar counter, crossing my legs to extend the leg lines, and the side-slit skirt hem just showcases the leg contours. The posture of holding the champagne glass was adjusted several times; the wrists cannot be too stiff, and slightly lifting the fingers can capture that lazy yet resolute aura. Pictures one and three are close-ups of standing and leaning over the desk, showcasing August's tentative feeling of inviting the commander through the interaction of the gaze and the wine glass.
The Manjuu bun on the bar is an unexpected cute point, forming an interesting contrast with the overall gorgeous silver evening dress and the mature woman atmosphere. This cosplay has great expressive power under material reflection and low-light environments. Throughout the shooting process, I constantly adjusted the lighting angles to capture the bokeh of the wine cabinet background and the contour light on the figure. The whole process was extremely satisfying, and I hope to convey this effortless sense of oppression through the photos.
