This Bunny ears version styling for Sangonomiya Kokomi is actually an idea I brainstormed a long time ago, and I finally brought it to life at this Anime convention. The original strategist attire carries a sense of steadiness and cool detachment, but adding Bunny ears and this fluffy blue-and-pink gradient wig instantly makes the overall temperament more lightweight and cute, resembling a special outfit prepared by Watatsumi Island specifically for a summer festival.

I did a lot of homework on the costume details; the large gradient bow on the chest and the tulle lace on the shoulders were all adjusted by hand. To recreate Kokomi's color scheme blending the deep sea and coral, I specially selected a pearlescent fabric, which shows an exceptionally translucent texture under outdoor light. The wig features a two-tone patch with a natural transition between pink and blue. The Bunny ears on top are made of a plush material, paired with pearls and star-shaped pendants on the side of the hair to give the overall look more layering. To match this anime atmosphere, I deliberately softened the contours in the makeup, enhanced the pink-toned blending of the eyeshadow, and touched up the center of the face and the inner corners of the eyes with highlighter, making myself look more soft-focused on camera.

The shoot took place at an outdoor plaza. Natural light is actually harder to control than studio lighting, but instead, it beautifully highlights this dreamy, ethereal aura. The side posture sitting on the white fuzzy blanket in the photo is one that I'm personally quite satisfied with. The over-the-knee socks and black chunky-heeled Mary Janes on the legs form a great visual extension, and the arc of the spreading skirt hem perfectly echoes the water ripples in Kokomi's design elements in Genshin Impact. Although the ground consists of hard tiles, the photographer on site patiently looked for angles for the best photo results, for which I'm truly grateful.

Regarding this work, what I actually want to convey more is the gentle yet firm core of the character itself. Even when switched to a playful style, Kokomi remains that leader who can bring hope and healing to her people. The post-processing for this set didn't over-modify anything, preserving a lot of raw light and shadow details. I hope you can feel this relaxed yet dedicated cosplay creation vibe.
