Recreating this Genshin Impact Cyno desert outfit involved spending the most thought on small body details. The animal ears on the headpiece and the blue-and-gold eye patterns produce nice light reflections under sunlight, while hanging dark ribbons add visual depth. Hard black shoulder armor pieces contrast sharply with the bare upper torso, while amber gems and metallic ornamentation at the waist, alongside blue-and-gold draped cloth, lend a grounded stability to the lower body outfit. To portray the character's sharp yet reserved demeanor, makeup emphasized deepening eye shadows and facial contours; the wig was also meticulously trimmed to achieve slightly tousled hair strands.

The texture of the polearm weapon is equally crucial. The gold-and-black spearhead, featuring circular mechanism/eye patterns, not only elevates overall outfit completion when held, but also provides a satisfying sense of weight during various poses. This outfit places high demands on the cosplayer's physical restoration; to closely match the character's muscle definition, I engaged in targeted core training and fat loss prior to the shoot. Combined with lighting and positioning on location, this power could be presented naturally in Male cosplay.

The convention site was bustling and noisy, yet this chaotic environment added a sense of spontaneous realism to the shoot. A crouching pose captured the exact moment sunlight struck from the side-rear, where lighting and diffuse reflections made the costume texture feel authentic. Hard outdoor floor tiles alongside background passersby and trees created a fascinating impression of a 2D character breaking the dimension wall into daily life. Posing in a combat stance with weapon in hand or holding the headpiece with one hand looking back in such a real setting felt far easier to get into character than a monochromatic studio setup.

At convention sites in recent years, attendees have grown increasingly discerning regarding props and details. Thus, when preparing props and attire, we strived for realism in fabric textures and surface luster, ensuring held weapons didn't look cheap and ribbons maintained natural drape in motion. Rather than forced posing, candid snapshots while walking through crowds felt much closer to the character aura we aimed to convey. Though portraying this character required extensive prep—and walking around the convention wearing this gear meant breaking a sweat—receiving recognition and interest from passersby made all the hard work worthwhile.
