For the lower half, shiny black leather shorts were paired with lace-trimmed Black stockings and high-heeled tall boots. To best showcase the Black stockings and the leg silhouette, I constantly shifted my center of gravity before the camera—slightly bending one knee or standing cross-legged—subtle adjustments that visually elongated the legs.
The booth lighting featured an intense blue-purple palette that harmonized seamlessly with the massive screens and gaming chairs in the background, fitting the thematic tone of the costume perfectly. With many photographers gathering around with cameras, I made a conscious effort to align my neck and shoulders while keeping my spine straight, ensuring an immaculate posture even in a crop top. The long gloves also required frequent smoothing to keep the edges crisp, as any slight wrinkle would be magnified on camera.
Convention schedules are typically hectic: from early morning makeup application and dressing to finally taking the stage, the physical toll is substantial. Standing in high-heeled tall boots all day put noticeable strain on my calves. To hold a pose filled with tension, staying motionless for several seconds while synchronizing with the shutter clicks was essential. Many visiting guests praised the commanding aura of this look, while others specifically captured close-ups of the Black stockings and boots—this kind of recognition felt wonderful.
Presenting a look with absolute polish requires attention at every step, from preliminary wardrobe fitting to on-site expression management. The wig felt stifling inside the warm hall, making it vital to hydrate during breaks and unzip the leather jacket to catch some air. Despite the exhaustion, reviewing the finished shots on camera—seeing how the lights struck the leather texture and highlighted the crisp lines—made every bit of effort worthwhile. The moment I packed up and finally slipped off the boots at the end of the day, pure relief washed over me.
