This Sangonomiya Kokomi cosplay shoot for the Qixi Festival was set in an Endless Summer hydrangea field. Although artificial flowers were used, properly arranging their color layers and density alongside a white chair created an overall atmosphere that matches the Genshin Impact character's color palette. The lighting on the shooting day was great; while doing makeup, special care was given to combing the pink-and-blue gradient wig with highlighted strands. Paired with light blue colored contacts and facial contouring, the makeup highlighted eye transparency to recreate the character's Hydro element theme. The outfit combined a pink cardigan with a white skirt, whose satin-like texture produced lovely reflections under soft lighting. I adjusted my sitting postures during the shoot: the second photo features a backward-leaning stretch that showcases leg lines and perspective extension, while the third photo adopts an upright seated pose with a hand gently touching the cheek to engage directly with the lens. For post-processing, contrast was lowered and exposure slightly increased to purify the purples, blues, and pinks, blending the character seamlessly into the flower field. For a gentle character like Kokomi, subtle details like the curve of the lips and delicate hand placement shape the entire vibe, so I stayed relaxed to keep every movement natural.
