I applied for the 3-day Cosplay Free Pass at the 10th Chongqing Dreamland Anime Exhibition. Day 1 was Lynette from Genshin Impact, Day 2 was a Ganyu Cosplay maid doujin look, and Day 3 was Furina cosplay. For Lynette on the first day, I paired a white dress with tall boots. The white Stockings underneath received special care—I selected a matte fabric so they wouldn't glare under the convention lighting, which also flattered the leg lines much better. When shooting this set, I tested several angles first, keeping the camera as low as possible to make my legs appear longer, perfectly matching the original character's airy and graceful feel. The headband placement and the wig's floating ribbons were all styled and set with hairspray in advance.

For the second day, I prepared a maid doujin costume for Genshin Impact's Ganyu Cosplay. The outfit has rich layering—black hollowed lace at the neckline and puffy blue-and-white sleeves that felt wonderful to the touch. This character was styled with black Stockings, which looked very slimming under the on-site lights but snag easily, so I brought two extra pairs as spares. To highlight the lace details during the shoot, I chose slightly angled side lighting so the textures of both the black Stockings and lace could clearly stand out. For props, I carried a cane, using crisp, agile movements to project the character's commanding aura.

On the third day, I prepared Furina cosplay from Genshin Impact. Primarily white, this outfit focuses on elegance and opulence, filled with rich details like gemstone accents at the waist and long gloves. Putting it on required careful adjustments to prevent wrinkles from shifting around. When shooting on-site at conventions, background clutter is always the hardest element to control. To make these characters stand out across the three days, I tried my best to shoot during off-peak windows, such as early morning right when the venue opened. The venue at Chongqing International Expo Center is massive with plenty of light, but the overhead ceiling lights were very harsh, requiring us to find suitable obstructions to diffuse the light to prevent faces from overexposing. Spanning three contrasting characters—from the sharp, capable Lynette Cosplay to the graceful maid Ganyu Cosplay, and finally the opulent Furina cosplay—placed high demands on makeup and styling control. To save time, after finishing each day, I would head back to restyle the next day's wig and costume, as well as adjust reflector positioning for convention hall shots. After all three days of the convention, though exhausting, organizing all these materials made me feel that my hair, makeup, and styling skills had leveled up tremendously.
