[Sigewinne cosplay] Teatime in the Fortress of Meropide

Sigewinne, the head nurse of the Fortress of Meropide, is here for her rounds! Today, I specially changed into this blue-and-white fan-made maid outfit. Apart from the iconic unicorn-like horn accessories and the pom-pom headband, the tailoring details of the entire costume are highly detailed. The wide ruffles and pocket design on the blue apron are full of casual maid outfit healing vibes. To stay true to the character's setting, I specially chose white stockings with blue bows under the skirt hem, paired with small black leather shoes, making the overall look visually closer to Sigewinne's playful yet gentle head nurse image.

When shooting this set of photos, I specifically chose a dark wooden tray paired with a blue coffee cup featuring a deer head logo as props. This not only echoes the daily items Sigewinne might come across in Genshin Impact but also creates a unified cool blue-and-white tone within the frame. The hand posture for holding the tray and the candid kneeling poses were actually adjusted many times in front of the lens before being finalized. I originally wanted to add some background decorations, but considering the desire for a refreshing, cozy vibe, I ultimately went with a simple solid-colored wall paired with warm-toned flooring.

Many fellow cosplayers mention during discussions that besides having the costume in place, capturing the character's inner liveliness and approachability is the hardest part to nail down. As a member of the Melusine race, Sigewinne possesses a unique cuteness alongside a professional sense of taking care of others. Therefore, when posing, I tried my best to let my body assume a relaxed, on-standby state.

It just happens to be autumn recently. Having such a "highly therapeutic" special blend during work breaks, paired with this Sigewinne Genshin Impact cosplay costume I put on myself, is truly a wonderful way to relax the mind and body. Having done cosplay for so long, every time I put my heart into transforming into a character I love, I can always find a unique joy in the anime world. Changing out of the clothes, organizing the wig, and getting ready for the next Anime-style photography project.
