Shooting this Christmas-themed photo set coincided with winter when the weather was quite chilly, but the warm studio lights were set up wonderfully, making the on-site experience comfortable. Let's first discuss the overall styling: for this Emilia Christmas look, the core elements were the white wig, Elf ears props, and colored contacts. To maintain volume and the curve of the bangs, styling the wig took quite a while. To be honest, wearing the Elf ears prosthetics for an extended period caused some ache at the base of the ears, but these are necessary hurdles to overcome to faithfully capture the character's traits. For this Christmas outfit, I chose White tights cosplay elements—red and green accents paired with white fluffy trim created a rich festive ambiance while elegantly framing the exposed skin at the thighs and neckline.

During the shoot, the biggest challenge lay in coordinating with the props. This set included a giant candy cane, exquisite little gift boxes, and a plush mouse wearing purple clothes. To capture a natural gifting motion, I repeatedly adjusted how far I leaned forward, highlighting the White tights cosplay leg lines while minding the angle of the gift box. The photographer had high standards for framing, especially capturing facial expressions; because purple colored contacts easily reflect indoor lighting, adjustments to catchlights were necessary. This styling embodies the character's inherent purity and gentle innocence, while the strong contrast between the festive red and white stockings carries a prominent 2D charm in this Christmas cosplay.

In post-processing, we mainly fixed stray hair clipping at the edges, preserved authentic skin textures without excessive smoothing, and enhanced the bokeh effect of the stained-glass background to make the subject pop. Whenever cosplaying a character with a specific festive theme, set design and color coordination become paramount. All in all, this was a very smooth and satisfying character photoshoot.
