[Raiden Mei cosplay] Herrscher of Thunder, Happy Birthday Wishes for Honkai Impact 3rd

To be honest, I always have to mentally prepare myself for a long time whenever I cosplay Herrscher of Thunder, because there are just too many details on this gear. Especially that glowing greatsword—to make sure it was bright enough at the convention venue, I modified the circuitry and battery compartment myself. Holding the whole sword in my hands is definitely heavy, but the effect when striking a sword-drawing pose is absolutely stunning. It is 2026 now, and several years have passed since the Herrscher of Thunder's debut, but every time I put on this red and black battle suit, wear those iconic long red horns, and stand under the convention lights, I can still instantly recover that sense of resilience that belongs to Raiden Mei.
This time, we took several sets of photos from different angles. There are intimidating low-angle shots, as well as a half-body close-up like the last one, which combines the gaze with the weapon's light effects. The venue's ceiling lights and the nearby fill lights worked together perfectly, making the patent leather texture of the outfit and the sharp edges of the metal armor clearly visible. I carefully adjust the position of the white tights and the asymmetrical skirt hem every time I wear them to ensure they don't get distorted when kneeling or squatting. Many fellow fans at the venue came over to recognize the character, and the feeling of being called "Mei-nee" by everyone was truly wonderful, as if I had actually become the Herrscher of Thunder guarding everyone for a brief moment.
Since today is Mei-nee's birthday, I'll use my favorite Herrscher of Thunder look to celebrate her birthday. No matter how the game versions update, the weight of Raiden Mei's character in my heart has never changed, and every cosplay is a tribute to her. From the styling to the props, from the positioning to the expressions, I hope to recreate her aura of having a "cool exterior but a passionate heart" as much as possible. I hope everyone can see another form of vitality for this character through cosplay.
