This time at Xiamen ANE Anime Convention, I cosplayed Kamisato Ayaka's 'Springbloom Missive'. This costume has a massive amount of layering and detail—the blue outer skirt paired with white lining and lace trims, plus the silver twin braids and the small flowers on the straw hat, makes the overall styling look incredibly refreshing. The lighting on-site was complex, but the photographer @Jiufan was great at catching angles. Coordinating with the special effects made by post-processor @Huntun-ovo and myself, the atmosphere of the ice and snow elements was maxed out. The folding fan and the ice crystal effects beneath the feet were all adjusted bit by bit in post-processing, giving the character that Genshin Impact fantasy feel even in a real-world setting. The eye makeup provided by makeup artist @Suisuisiu... was very clean, and the blue colored lenses matched the wig color beautifully, with a built-in cool-toned temperament that fits Kamisato Ayaka's setting perfectly. During the shoot, the gripping posture of the prop fan was tried several times, and I finally selected a few frames with stronger dynamic feel, such as lifting a hand to shade the hat brim and the moment of a single-foot hop, which beautifully display the character's agility. The shoes for this outfit are brown lace-up ankle boots, echoing the pink prints on the white thigh-highs, and the overall color ratio is quite comfortable. Although the convention venue was crowded, the resulting shots look very clean. Thanks to the buddies who helped with lighting and straightening out the skirt hem. It's my first time trying this kind of convention photo with magic special effects, and the post-processing composition took more time than expected, but seeing the finished product brings a huge sense of accomplishment.
