Preparation for this shoot took a long time. The outfit is a self-assembled Azur Lane fan-made evening dress. Since I really couldn't find suitable horns, I had to use a headband as a substitute for now, and I'll remake a version of the horns later if there's an opportunity. The wig was chosen with a very high color saturation red, styled to look fluffy and layered, with a touch of glitter added so it emits subtle sheen under the light. For the eye makeup, I used violet contact lenses combined with earth-toned eyeshadow transitions, trying my best to get close to that oppressive yet glamorous temperament.

For the location this time, we found an interior featuring retro carved furniture and a fireplace. I really love the warm tones brought by the fireplace's firelight, which, paired with a copper retro desk lamp, gives the entire frame a retro oil painting feel. Some golden tea sets, lace tablecloths, and red roses were placed in the foreground, using a large aperture for some blur to increase the layering of the frame.

To showcase the characteristics of this evening dress, multi-layered golden necklaces were chosen for the jewelry, paired with gem-encrusted arm cuffs and bracelets. The off-the-shoulder design and puff sleeves of the clothing itself also nicely displayed the shoulder and neck lines. In terms of posing, I tried my best to relax, leaning against the leather sofa or gently supporting my cheek with my hand. Surtr's character temperament is very special; she isn't the lively type, but rather possesses a casual languidness and power. Therefore, in depicting the gaze, I reduced deliberate exertion, using a calm and even slightly critical look to look into the lens.

Throughout the shooting process, I constantly communicated with the photographer about the direction of light and shadow, especially the warm yellow light spots in the first two photos, which were captured by adding some small props in front of the lens. While I wouldn't dare say it's 100% faithful, the overall atmosphere is already very close to my vision. In the future, I will continue to research how to make the texture of the props more refined, and I hope this self-assembled evening dress can present the feeling I want.
