To faithfully reproduce the visual appeal of this character, styling the wig and securing the halo prop on top of the head required significant adjustment time before every makeup prep. Pushing a shopping cart in a warehouse wearing a gray sweater created a lovely, relaxed aura.
In actual outdoor shoots, prop prep directly impacts final photo quality. Volleyballs, convenience store snacks, candied hawthorns, and treats became charming touches that injected life into the frame. Especially during autumn when ginkgo leaves drift down, pairing a black jacket with a khaki skirt alongside a bottled tea drink created clean, natural color harmony. Outdoor shoots always present unexpected surprises—crowd onlookers, sudden weather changes—but these became indispensable parts of the experience.
To capture each season's distinct character, I specifically scheduled these shoots across different times of the year. Summer short-sleeved sportswear with volleyballs, autumn jackets with fallen leaves, winter red maid dresses with Christmas trees, and traditional lantern-lit streets—each look was matched with a fitting real setting. Preparing 13 full sets of costumes, wigs, and props meant at least 13 prep cycles; from wig trimming and costume shipping to final makeup tests, ample time had to be reserved every single time.
