The offline Watsons collaboration event between Watsons Distilled Water and Reverse: 1999 took place over the weekend, with queuing crowds packing almost the entire store. Stepping up as a One-day store manager dressed in the new skin, I went through hours of high-intensity duty. Parts of the store featured dedicated collaboration displays, where backdrops and freezer decals were replaced with custom themed designs. The collaboration merchandise was exquisitely crafted—the acrylic had superb transparency, clear printing, and a premium feel in hand. Many players made the trip specifically for the event, some to purchase limited-edition merch and others to interact with the store manager.

The interactive session featured mini-games where players could earn collaboration cards by answering trivia correctly, drawing eager crowds in front of the storefront. Photographers aimed their heavy telephoto lenses right up to the counter, with shutter clicks snapping non-stop. Given the limited space, staff stepped in to guide the queues and ensure everything ran smoothly. As key characters, my Tooth Fairy cosplay partner and I took charge of working in front of the counter. With so many people, I constantly adjusted my energy to coordinate photos with everyone as best as possible. The weather was fairly warm, and wearing such a heavy gown was genuinely physically demanding. During a brief break, I took a close look at the new specially packaged bottled water on the shelves; the character design integrated seamlessly with the product packaging. Several players came up to take photos holding the complete set of merch they had gathered—a sense of fulfillment that online events simply cannot replicate.

The scheduling and merchandise support for this event were remarkably well organized. Acquiring the limited-edition gift-with-purchase merchandise required checking in first to qualify on a first-come, first-served basis, leaving a few latecomers slightly disappointed once interactions concluded. The organizers also arranged designated game segments; although the floor was packed, order was maintained quite well overall. Cosplaying Sonetto Cosplay, I felt everyone's genuine love and validation for the character; every photo and conversation made me feel this was a top-tier collaboration. With this being one of several offline theme stops, I heard the final stop is scheduled in Chengdu from June 5 to June 7. Throughout the campaign, from promotional materials and packaging to the live ambiance, everything demonstrated high quality. Coordinating with my partner on-site while minding costume adjustments and poised posture was quite the test of adaptability. In particular, navigating the counter space in this yellow formal dress and black gloves required extra caution, but fortunately the players were wonderfully thoughtful, making on-site interactions seamless and warm.

Overall, this was a thoroughly fulfilling One-day store manager experience and my most direct opportunity to connect closely with players offline. The quality of the packaging, along with the designs of the limited postcards and acrylic stands, resonated perfectly with everyone's passion for the characters. As the staff packed up materials after wrap-up, I prepared to change out of the costume and head out, feeling the heavy physical exertion from being on my feet all day.
