[Fleurdelys cosplay] Wuthering Waves Big Cartethyia Size L Fitting and Accessories Review

Getting straight to the point, today I received the Big Cartethyia cosplay (Fleurdelys) Size L set from Sanfen Wangxiang. First off, my basic stats: height 172 cm, weight 70 kg. Wearing this Size L set feels very fitting overall, serving as a reference for fellow cosplayers in the same body type range.

Let's first discuss the tailoring and pattern design of the outfit itself. The silhouette of this costume is indeed well-crafted—the high waistline cut visually elongates the lower body proportion tremendously. For my 172 cm height, the leg-lengthening effect is very obvious when wearing it, and paired with the drape of the skirt, it really makes one look tall and slender. The anti-exposure design is well executed with built-in safety shorts, so there's no need to worry about exposure while wearing it, making it very friendly for movement. However, one spot worth mentioning specifically is that the bust area is indeed a bit on the smaller side, but the manufacturer thoughtfully included a built-in pad about 6 cm thick. This design is extremely friendly for girls with smaller bust measurements like me, allowing you to hold up the costume's shape without needing extra padding.

Looking at the accessories section, the gauntlets are the style shown in Photo 4. The design is beautiful; while maintaining an exaggerated overall aesthetic, the pattern design isn't clunky at all. Putting them on is smooth, and once equipped, the range of joint motion is wide, so you don't have to worry about complex armor causing stiff limbs. As for headwear, the golden horns feature a very convenient hairpin design that easily slides into the wig gaps and stays securely in place. The craftsmanship of the halo ring is also fantastic—it is lightweight yet provides strong structural support, so it won't fall off during running, jumping, or nodding vigorously. The entire headpiece combined with elf ears fixes onto the wig with great results, serving as a huge plus for a cosplayer seeking mobility.

The biggest highlight worth mentioning about this outfit is its incredible 6-meter starry train. As seen in the earlier photos, due to spatial limitations of the shooting venue, we couldn't fully spread out and flatten the train, leaving it stacked on the floor. Yet this only reveals the tip of the iceberg of its actual effect; the material and starry patterns look extraordinarily gorgeous under natural light. When fully spread out, the massive hem area delivers superb character accuracy.

Let's talk about the overall try-on experience. Regarding the wig, the light golden color and length offer great accuracy with generous hair volume, which nicely conceals the wig cap after equipping headpieces. Combined with elf ear props and the halo overhead, the visual composition of the head is very rich. For shoes, I wore my own clear high-heeled sandals; the light, translucent soles visually extend leg lines even further. Aside from the extra-long train, the fabric pieces on the costume aren't heavy, providing decent breathability without feeling sweltering. For an 859 RMB outfit, it strikes a great balance between overall visual impact and wearing comfort; the texture of the gauntlets and volume of the train completely exceeded expectations.

The outfit's details, including the golden textures on ribbons and the gradient transition between deep blue and white, look very photogenic during actual shooting.
