Shooting this Seaside Swimsuit set for Space Ereshkigal and Ishtar took place a few days ago, yet organizing the photos still brings back the scent of sea breeze and warm sunshine. Rather than opting for a standard studio shoot, we chose the open Seaside to capture the breezy clarity of summer and cultivate authentic environmental interaction.

The outfit itself is quite lightweight: a white halter-neck top paired with a teal-blue high-cut Swimsuit that heavily tests one's physique and posture. To look sleek on camera, I fine-tuned my diet and trained specifically for waist, core, and leg lines prior to the shoot. However, the massive golden birdcage prop proved to be the greatest hurdle during actual shooting.

While the prop looks exquisite, it is far heavier than imagined—holding it up, turning, and posing felt like a continuous weightlifting workout. In Photo 6's frontal stance in particular, standing barefoot in seawater while steadying the cage pole with one hand required immense core balance; my legs were trembling, yet I had to maintain an effortless, relaxed look before the lens.

The crashing waves brought their own challenges. For the first shot sitting in shallow water and kicking up spray, I had to wait for the swell to hit, dealing with seawater splashing into my mouth while keeping my eyes open despite droplets hitting the lens. Stepping barefoot across rugged reefs was painful, requiring constant posture adjustments to maintain composure while flattering my body curves.

Yet the final results are deeply gratifying: reflections across wet sand, splashing spray, and subtle post-processing lighting elevated the entire atmosphere instantly. The large red bow atop the hair created bold contrast with the blue Swimsuit, looking vibrant under natural coastal sunlight. The intrinsic dynamism of the character made splashing barefoot by the shore feel organic and engaging, delivering a captivating duality that represents my dedicated interpretation of their summer forms.

To prevent wardrobe malfunctions and maintain stamina, I prepped thoroughly with sunscreen and durable base makeup. Although ocean water washed away bits of makeup, these organic touches resonated with the scene. The photographer also laid flat in the water repeatedly to capture the exact instant of splashing spray—immensely hardworking.

Seeing the final frames, the overwhelming sentiment was pure 'bittersweet joy.' Getting drenched and braving sore feet from sharp rocks faded away in front of a satisfying piece. Truly understanding a character and tuning one's physical state to harmonize with the setting is the ultimate joy of cosplay. After wrapping this set, my only thought was taking a hot shower and lounging comfortably for a whole day.
