The most interesting part of shooting this set was utilizing steel wire ropes in front of a solid color background for various floating dynamic captures. The Long pink hair paired with the white-and-black lightweight battle skirt makes the overall styling look exceptionally clean and neat in a monochrome studio. The fabric of this outfit is relatively light, especially the drape of the front and back hems, which can present great airflow lines in a suspended state. To restore the character's dynamic yet slightly playful feel, I tried several different actions such as flashing a peace sign with one hand, holding the prop microphone, and stretching my limbs. By controlling the tilt angle of the body, the skirt hem and hair strands generated a natural floating sense. Regarding equipment, two load-bearing steel wires were used with safety buckles; although the range of motion was limited, it actually made the posture more stable, allowing the center of gravity to be completely supported by the suspension points. During the shoot, the most important things to note were relaxing facial expressions and the direction of the gaze, because the body easily tenses up unconsciously after being lifted, requiring a deep breath before every shutter click to relieve muscle stiffness. Although this form of Studio shoot Suspension photography takes quite some time to prepare, the weightless lightness after getting the photos is indeed very special. The photographer's control over the gray-blue backlight also happened to draw out the color contrast between my skin tone and the pink wig, keeping the entire set of images in a translucent and soft texture. Despite the abstract studio background, with the help of simple props and precise body language, the overall emotion conveyed is still complete and full. This was a very smooth studio experience, freezing the character's Energetic girl vibe and presence into these few frames.
