Shooting this Pamiat' Merkuria outfit at an offline booth in Guangzhou, the overall styling centered around white plush textures, paired with a navy cap featuring an anchor emblem and black knot accessories, creating a visually comfortable black-and-white contrast. This blend of military uniform and winter wear is highly recognizable at anime conventions. Even though it's already summer now, I chose a thick Plush coat and a warm hat for optimal photography results. Luckily, the air conditioning inside the hall was blowing strong, so this outfit happened to combat the indoor chill—a rather nice experience.

The silver-gray long straight hair is a key point of the look, featuring a subtle purple-blue gradient at the ends that cast a faint shimmering effect under neon lights and white LED strips at the booth. Bangs on the wig required precise trimming, and to complement red eye makeup and contact lenses, the eyeliner was intentionally extended to give my eyes a more lively look. I really loved several composition sets from this session—especially the full-body photo standing at the edge of the booth, draped in a heavy plush coat with one hand raised slightly. The open stance showcased body proportions, while the Black tights outfit and leg garters served as the finishing touches, breaking up any potential bulky look from pure white.

The details of the costume props were very meticulous; the black belt cinched the waist right at the right spot, keeping the figure sleek despite the Plush coat draped outside. Gold line accents along the white coat's edges elevated overall splendor, while black short gloves and semi-transparent tights combined to give the character an aura that balanced naval heroism with soft delicacy. Large areas of plush material are sensitive to live settings: under lighting, the fur looks fluffy and soft, but maintaining the smooth fur texture without messing it up meant I didn't dare make big movements during shooting. Thanks to the photographer's prompt candid captures, otherwise many poses might not have looked natural.

The booth set backdrop this time was also carefully designed, featuring a main blue-and-white color palette paired with props like ship rudders and signal lights that fit the harbor atmosphere in Azur Lane. Shooting time on set was limited, requiring us to avoid bustling crowds in the background while finding clean angles. The photographer mastered Convention photography lighting excellently; despite chaotic ambient lights, the output light and shadow looked wonderfully clear, with natural shadow transitions across facial features and clothing. Walking around at the convention in such heavy attire was somewhat clumsy, but luckily the final photos met expectations.

Cosplaying a character I truly love always brings a unique sense of engagement—from wig trimming and makeup mixing to putting on complex layered outfits, down to the frozen moment in front of the lens, the entire process is filled with fun. Although this styling leaned toward a heavy plush style, pairing it with long boots and a Black tights outfit visually elongated my leg lines, lessening the upper body's heaviness. Looking through these photos—whether a playful single-leg standing pose or a close-up sitting down adjusting my cap brim—each captures a vivid moment. Thanks for this collaboration; creating photos that make people feel comfortable is a delight, and I look forward to trying even more styles next time.
