A great deal of effort went into the makeup and styling for this Yang Yuhuan "Xiuhua" shoot. The eye makeup used a blend of red and gold gradients, and the red markings on the forehead and outer eye corners were specially designed to better fit the classical temperament. For texture, the crown and hair ornaments on the head were chosen in pure metal material, which carried a bit of weight after wearing them for a long time. The costume features the classic high-saturation red, blue, and gold color scheme, with layers of yellow and red sheer fabric draped over the outer layer, allowing the airy lightness of the sheer cloth to naturally emerge when walking or posing. The golden pipa prop in hand is exquisite, with the carved details of the instrument body captured clearly by the lens, though holding it steadily while lying down required a bit of core strength.

To echo the ambiance of this styling, the scene was set on a white plush blanket strewn with a large quantity of rose petals. This shoot experimented with several different perspectives: the first photo focuses on the facial expression and the details of the upper body's gold ornaments, the second gives a special close-up to the legs and red shoes. Personally, my favorite is the composition of the third photo, where the inverted perspective completely stretches out the body lines. Wearing Stockings paired with red flats better showcased the extension feel of the legs when lying down. To maintain posture balance during the shoot, my waist and abdomen were constantly engaging force while controlling my facial expressions, which was actually quite a test of physical strength.

In terms of lighting and shadow, warm golden light sources were used on-site to create a lazy yet resplendent ambiance. Post-processing also added some golden glitter particle effects, giving the entire frame a greater sense of fantasy. In fact, when conceptualizing this photo set, the goal was to combine the tension of classical elements with modern aesthetics, utilizing reclining postures to showcase the layering of this costume. I hope the presentation of these details allows everyone to feel the inherent charm of this styling itself.
