Because Suisui from Wuthering Waves has no ready-made costume available, I had to create this entirely with my own hands. Preparing and shooting this Headcanon / Original setting virtually consumed all my recent spare time. Right from the early design stages, I kept pondering how to piece together Suisui's distinct aura using accessible elements without an official outfit. I ultimately chose a white dress textured with dimensional roses as the foundation; although made of sheer chiffon, the all-over textured lace blooms added rich depth, casting a soft, subtle sheen under the lights.

For the wig, I began with a pale blonde base, trimming it with blunt bangs and gently curled ends. To harmonize with the look, the eyebrows were filled softly, keeping focus squarely on the eyes. A broad wash of orange-red eyeshadow was layered and paired with amber contact lenses, aiming for a translucent yet dreamily mesmerizing gaze. The black geometric glyph centered on my forehead served as the soul of the facial styling—drawn holding my breath with an ultra-fine brush tip, where even the slightest wobble would throw off bilateral symmetry. The lipstick was a classic true red with a slight sheen, uplifting the overall complexion.

The headwear took the most arduous labor. That blue-to-gold gradient fin-shaped adornment, flanked by golden leaf elements and tied with red cords and tassels, was entirely assembled piece by piece from various loose parts sourced online. Because they had to sit at specific angles without weighing down the wig or deforming its silhouette, I tested multiple fastening methods back and forth. The black folding fan in hand wasn't a conventional prop, yet its subtle silver-gray filigree blended with the overall style with surprising elegance.

On the shoot day, the backdrop was kept to a clean, warm-toned wall. Given the sheer lace elements of the gown, I posed sideways holding the fan across my chest, introducing visual layers while elegantly framing my neck and shoulder contours. For close-up frames, the focus rested on emotional projection through the eyes—maintaining a calm, composed, slightly enigmatic presence. Lacking an official costume to lean on, commanding an authentic aura demanded far greater effort; every finger placement and gaze angle was rehearsed and fine-tuned alongside the photographer.

The crafting journey was undeniably humbling and laborious, yet exceptionally rewarding. Building a character's visual identity completely from scratch offers an experience that simply buying off-the-rack garments can never match. Manually realizing this portrait helped me forge a much deeper connection with the character. While plenty of details still leave room for growth, achieving this outcome within limited constraints leaves me truly satisfied in this Wuthering Waves fan content.
