The combination of the black satin long dress and the pure white palace-style background easily pulls emotions into a quiet and slightly mysterious world. The original caption "Those Departed, Sins Forgiven," combined with the overall styling this time, actually implies an elegance and relief that has settled over time.

What satisfies me most about this outfit is actually the choice of fabric. The black is not a dull, lifeless black, but a material with a satin sheen that reflects very beautiful highlights under the light, giving the pleats of the long dress a great sense of layers. The retro pearl chains and cross pendant on the chest, along with the translucent black tulle gloves on the wrists, all add a lot of medieval court luxury to the overall look. The tiara and wig also had many details; the wig is light pink with slightly curled short hair, bringing a fluffy lightness that perfectly counteracts the oppressive feel of the black dress and tiara. The neckline is cross-decorated with black lace, paired with a translucent black veil, forming a reserved yet exquisite visual layering.

The makeup this time also follows a cold, flawless porcelain doll style. A lot of effort went into the base makeup to make it appear very fair and translucent. For the eye makeup, black eyeliner and light-colored pupils were used to create depth, which, paired with a slightly gentle lip color, portrays that "non-aggressive sense of aloofness" as much as possible. Although the hair strands are light-colored, they harmonize well with the golden leaves of the tiara under the cool lighting.

The shooting environment on that day was an indoor setting with white classical Roman columns as the background. This large area of pure white tone invisibly acted as a natural reflector, making the light truly soft. On that day, besides the veil on the head, we also prepared a bouquet of blue and white hydrangeas as a prop. The action of handing the flowers or quietly holding the bouquet broke up a single sitting posture well, adding a sense of vivid character interaction to the scene. The skirt hem is very wide, so when sitting down, I had to carefully arrange its position to reveal the looming lace and leg lines beneath the hem.

Many thanks to photographer @Pulao411 for the patient guidance. Sometimes, to capture the exact moment when the eyelids are lowered or the natural dispersion of the skirt hem on the steps, we needed to repeatedly adjust our posture and camera positions. But seeing the gorgeous lines created by the stacked fabrics and the strong black-and-white contrast in the final photos made everything feel worthwhile. Just as the caption says, "portrait photography's three elements" is truly not just a pile of technology and equipment, but more importantly, the mutual understanding of that atmosphere between the photographer and the model.

When organizing the photos at the end, I chose one where my body tilts slightly and my arm naturally extends outward as the cover photo. Set against the pure white steps, the silhouette formed by the stacked black skirt hem, combined with the hand-raising action, guides the viewer's gaze to the face and also showcases the lace and leg lines underneath the skirt. This slightly extended pose has a more vivid sense of narrative than a simple static sitting photo.

Although there weren't many complex outdoor settings this time, the simple collision of white walls, white columns, and the black long dress instead fully highlighted the exquisiteness of the outfit itself.
