Bringing Suisui from Wuthering Waves to life in this Traditional Chinese style cosplay project demanded intense focus on garments and props. The asymmetric modified hanfu features rich black-and-gold embroidery and crimson cord accents at the waist, brought into harmony through multiple iterations of wig styling and makeup contouring.
The studio set wove bamboo thickets, cherry blossoms, artificial autumn leaves, and warm amber lanterns into an Eastern fantasy setting. Dense fog machine plumes curled through the beams to mirror the misty dreamscape described in the lore. A delicate folding fan served as both a key focal prop and an anchor for fluid postures, whether half-masking the face or draped casually downward.
Posing barefoot alongside the high-slit skirt presented the greatest technical challenge. Maintaining long, flowing leg lines across seated and kneeling positions required constant core and calf tension disguised beneath effortless, languid grace. Soft pinkish eye contours paired with a sculpted forehead mark anchored the gaze, while lantern accent lights sculpted facial depth through the drifting haze, realizing an authentic Anime-style photography and Wuthering Waves fan content tribute.
