Adjusting the last gear pendant on the chest in front of the mirror, this Wuthering Waves Denia dreamland theme styling is officially finalized. When styling the blue-pink gradient wig, the curliness of the hair ends was deliberately enhanced. The twin buns and white rabbit ear hair accessories on both sides of the top were positioned multiple times to ensure layering from all angles during shooting. In caring for the wig, to maintain its fluffy yet frizz-free state, hair care essential oil was used in advance for brushing, especially the blue gradient part at the ends which tangles easily and needs to be gently untangled with a wide-tooth comb. To fit the character's facial features, blue eyes and plump lip makeup are key; the eye makeup deepened the outer corner contours, paired with highlighted under-eye aegyo-sal, making the gaze more focused under the lens. The base makeup chose a matte texture to highlight the vibrancy of the pink hair styling. The red fabric and dark lines of the gloves are one of the highlights of this styling, and the blue gemstone decoration on the back of the hand needs to be carefully fixed with glue to avoid falling off during movements. The blue collar and metal chain around the neck match with a great texture, but one must also be careful not to catch the hair when wearing it, so every time raising the arm to adjust posture requires extra care. The lighting layout during shooting mainly relied on soft side light to highlight the shine of the wig and the golden edges on the clothing. To capture a dreamy atmosphere, a simple grid wall was chosen as the background to avoid stealing the visual focus from the character. This shoot mainly used a large-aperture lens, with the focus completely locked on the face, allowing the background grid to naturally blur, thus forming a sharp color contrast between the pink hair strands and the red gloves. Considering that the red gloves are very eye-catching in the frame, the camera's white balance was deliberately adjusted during shooting to prevent red bleeding that leads to loss of details, while retaining the golden outlining texture on the clothing edges. When posing, the hand-supporting posture combined with the lens better showcases the fluffy details of the gloves and cuffs, presenting an overall atmosphere of quiet gazing. To make the clothing's layering more obvious, the skirt pleats and chest chains were combed and arranged before shooting to ensure they drape naturally in the frame. From the makeup and hair foundation to the final finished pictures, many details were determined through repeated adjustments, such as the direction of hair strands and the draping position of the necklace. Highlighting on the nose tip and mid-face forms a cold-warm contrast with the blue contact lenses, making the face look more three-dimensional. Although the hands wrapped in gloves were a bit stuffy, for the completeness of the frame, the stability of the hand posture was still maintained. The style of this photo set leans towards static portrait portrayal, restoring the character's state in a specific context through meticulous makeup and exquisite props. Recording this photo set is also a complete and fulfilling experience. Every process of organizing makeup, hair, and wearing accessories is a silent communication with the character, and recording these visual details is also a very interesting part of role-playing game.
