[Sora cosplay] Goddess of Victory: NIKKE Anime Street Project

Today, I completed this set of NIKKE Sora photos at Sanmiao Classmate's Photography Studio, with the theme set as the Anime Street Project. The entire scene was arranged with a large number of neon light tubes, retro displays, and crosswalk elements, coupled with the dark blue heavy motorcycle as the main highlight. As soon as you stepped onto the set, the atmosphere of cyberpunk and street fashion colliding was fully maxed out.
The character Sora herself has a setting with a very strong sense of liveliness and a bit of rebellion, so I chose a pink-and-white sporty outfit to highlight her traits. A white sports bra paired with a pink cropped zip-up jacket, the lower body is matched with matching tight athletic shorts, with the zipper slightly open to just reveal the waist and abdomen lines. The black leather choker around the neck has a slightly hardcore style, while the white ring prop at the wrist is a small detail breaking the dullness. In terms of hairstyle, it retains the character's red-brown double buns and straight bangs, and the pink sports headband paired with orange-yellow tinted sunglasses almost became the soul of the entire styling, instantly bringing out the character's recognizability once worn. Actually, this kind of pink sporty style easily looks thin under strong light, so I increased the layering of blush and eye makeup, matching red-brown colored contacts to make the gaze more piercing.
To match the street setting, white mid-tube socks paired with platform sneakers were chosen for the feet, echoing the overall sports-casual style. During the shooting process, I tried to keep my movements casual yet full of tension. Leaning against the motorcycle, sitting on it with one arm spread open, or kneeling on a suitcase—all these actions required tightening the core to showcase nice leg lines and overall contours. Especially for the set of shots sitting on the motorcycle, I needed to keep my balance while straightening my right leg and letting my ankle hang naturally, so as to present the most slender visual effect of the legs in the lens. As for the posture of kneeling on the box, it required twisting the waist to show body curves while giving a slightly upturnted yet confident gaze.
Special mention goes to the design of light and shadow: the cyan-blue and pink-purple cold lights emitted by the photographer formed a strong contrast with the dark motorcycle paint and the brown leather suitcase we prepared. To present the translucent feel of the legs and waist, a layer of highlight was deliberately applied, keeping the skin glowing under the cold light environment. During the shoot, to capture the best angle, we repeatedly adjusted the projection positions of the neon lights to ensure the light wouldn't create harsh shadows on the face, while also guaranteeing that the reflections on the motorcycle's fuel tank mirrored the surrounding cool-toned environment.
Although walking back and forth on hard ground wearing platform shoes and changing poses was a bit tiring, and I had to constantly rearrange the headband and necklace that shifted due to large movements, seeing the energetic and cyberpunk-textured images in the finished photos made it feel very fitting for the concept of this Anime Street Project. I felt completely immersed in this street space composed of neon lights and machinery.
This shoot gave me a new understanding of street-style cosplay—not just the restoration of costumes, but more importantly, placing the character into a specific scene, using light and body language to tell a momentary story. From the subtle placement of props to the choice of the motorcycle's tilt angle, every detail determined the ultimate visual tension. I hope everyone can feel that cool yet sexy street atmosphere from this set of photos.
