The set for this shoot was designed inside an intensely futuristic incubation capsule, where the ambiance was sculpted entirely by a massive cyan-blue ring light mounted above. I put on the white one-piece skintight plugsuit, accented with black color-blocked panels and fluorescent green accents, marked with unit number '00' across the chest and '10' along the back. To align with the styling, I wore a light-colored short bob wig and an interface hairband covering part of my forehead. The set dressing featured numerous white cables suspended from the ceiling, surrounded by hexagonal industrial-style cubic props and background display screens rendering Science fiction interfaces. The most demanding aspect of the shoot was the harsh, singular overhead lighting: this vertical angle easily cast the face entirely into shadow, requiring me to continuously micro-adjust the tilt and rotation of my head so the light sculpted my jawline and collarbones cleanly. The capsule interior was extremely cramped; while the smoke machine's white mist heightened the cinematic mood, it made breathing constricted and obscured sightlines. For the kneeling sequence, I rested on one knee across an illuminated platform while extending an arm upward, keeping my core firmly engaged throughout to maintain a straight back and define my silhouette against the rim light. Positioning outside the chamber, the photographer shot through the hanging cables as foreground elements while I alternated between crossing my arms over my chest and glancing sideways over my shoulder. Every shift required checking facial illumination while consciously maintaining an aloof, cool detachment in my gaze. The cyan light can easily drain skin tones, so we refined the color balance considerably in post-production. Although the shoot was physically draining, the glowing rim light etched along my silhouette by the cyan-blue beams and the high-tech Cyberpunk texture of the whole scene made this cool-toned photographic exploration thoroughly worthwhile.
