[Dorothy Cosplay] Pink Hair Girl & Dreamy Light in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE - Image 1

I tried using clear and translucent color tones to recreate the iconic pink hair cosplay look of Dorothy, making extensive preparations from building the wig structure to choosing outfit details. For the wig, I specifically picked thicker hair volume on both sides to build hair buns, paired with a small white bow hairpiece so the pink visual center of gravity concentrates on the top of the head. The bangs were trimmed with layers so the forehead wouldn't look overly empty. The white ruffled collar of the top was made from a slightly structured fabric, forming a natural curve across the chest without collapsing flat against the torso. The small yellow accessory on the neck choker provides a nice pop of color in an otherwise white-and-pink-dominated image. The strap design on both sides of the waist keeps the outfit from feeling dull, while the puff sleeves maintain a very youthful, girlish silhouette. The lower half features a holographic reflective tulle skirt, which creates a shimmering, water-like visual effect under indoor blue and white highlights. The white stockings underneath nicely neutralize the overly avant-garde texture of the reflective skirt, giving the whole white stockings cosplay outfit a more cohesive and soft feel. As for eye makeup, to fit the dreamy atmosphere, I chose light blue-purple contact lenses to enhance translucency, kept the base makeup very clean, and used a low-saturation nude pink for the lips. During shooting, large softboxes were used for lighting, giving the overall image a high-key, bright aesthetic. Combined with the blue wall panels and white lines in the background, it formed a cool-toned contrast with the pink hair. Wrapped in bright highlights, the pink hair and white outfit visually project a strong soft-focus glow quality. When matching the stockings and skirt, I also considered leaving some negative space on the sides of the waist for breathability. Although some netizens joked that it was fully covered up, through changing material textures and shooting angles, the look still maintains great visual tension in motion. I believe this carefully prepared white-highlight look accurately conveys the ethereal demeanor of Dorothy in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, making it a great piece of anime cosplay.
