[Tangtang cosplay] Arknights: Endfield Qingbo Village chief's combat posture

Today, let's talk about this set of Tangtang's convention photos. The chief of Qingbo Village—this setting itself carries a very strong jianghu and sci-fi vibe. To highly restore this styling, quite a lot of effort was spent on clothing and props in the early stage. The multi-layer structure of the outerwear paired with tactical straps requires time to adjust details when wearing it so it doesn't get messy, while also ensuring the range of body movement, otherwise dynamic actions can't be fully performed. The wig was also specially trimmed in layers, preventing the silver-gray hair strands from looking stiff during movement. The fixation of the ears and tail also tests details, especially that long tail; to ensure it doesn't fall off during large-scale movements, the buckle positions need to be repeatedly confirmed, and the tail's swinging trajectory in front of the lens must also be considered. The mechanical weapon prop in hand has quite some weight, and minor adjustments to the grip posture directly determine the naturalness of the final photo presentation.

The lighting at the convention venue that day was actually quite complex, with industrial lights overhead. Coupled with the bustling crowd, quickly entering the character's state in such an environment really tests concentration. To match this tactical outfit and the eyepatch setting, a lot of explosive power was incorporated into the action design. The lunge in Figure 5 requires pressing the center of gravity very low while keeping the upper body steady, with arms open to both sides to display a state of combat readiness. Such large-scale movements heavily test core strength; during the shoot, you must pay attention to maintaining the breathing rhythm, and not lose the chief's calm and confident aura just because the movement is strenuous. The combat posture needs to present a sense of power, and the over-the-knee stockings and red leg rings on the legs visually stretch the body lines and enhance the overall combat atmosphere. The single-knee kneeling look-back in Figure 1 is mainly to showcase the form of the tail, while expressing the character's confident and bold side, and the management of eyes and facial expressions must be on point at that exact moment. Since one eye is covered by an eyepatch, the makeup and gaze placement of the exposed eye both need to be even more precise than usual to convey emotions.

Looking back at these recent shoots, the preparations off-stage and the moments on-stage have all been recorded. Every location shoot or convention visit is a dual test for the body and props, especially dealing with high-difficulty actions on the hard floors of convention venues, which has high demands on leg strength. But seeing the final photos, I feel all the efforts were worth it. In upcoming plans, I will continue to polish this styling, further optimize the prop details, and strive to present an even more perfect state in future conventions or location shoots, continuing the elegance of the Qingbo Village chief.
