[Honoka Kosaka cosplay] Love Live! little devil awakening, 2-day countdown to her birthday!

Only two days left in the countdown to our favorite girl's birthday! I can finally share this playful set of little devil awakening photos. Taking photos and not posting them is like never taking them at all! Even though this shoot was prepared in quite a rush, I still wanted to show everyone a different side of Little Devil Honoka before her birthday. As for the wig, I tied up the back of a regular one to match the little devil hairstyle as closely as possible, so it might deviate slightly from the original design—please be gentle, and apologies for any OOC!

While shooting this set, I was constantly thinking about poses. The red-and-black outfit is packed with details, from the red floral prints on the skirt to the black lace trimming along the hem. The red trident prop in my hand actually carries some weight; holding it up with one hand while keeping my wrist steady and maintaining character expression was definitely a physical workout. The gloves and black arm bracers felt quite constricting, and the thigh straps tended to loosen while walking around, so I had to readjust them with almost every pose change to keep the shots looking crisp.

To highlight the 'little devil' vibe, I intentionally contoured the eye makeup darker and wore bright blue contacts, creating a striking visual contrast with the orange hair. In the studio, we chose a solid pink backdrop paired with golden stands and winding artificial red rose vines—once the lights were set, the whole atmosphere came alive. The photographer put a lot of effort into capturing dynamic motions; snapping the perfect angle when swinging the trident was tricky, and it took multiple attempts to get a shot we were both happy with.

In fact, this look has a really strong visual impact. Although I made some compromises on the wig styling, the most important part of cosplay is enjoying the process and doing your best to capture the character's spirit and aura. I hope this slightly playful, subtly alluring Little Devil Honoka brings everyone a fresh look. With her birthday just around the corner, things have been quite hectic, so I can only share one photo for now. If I have time to edit more later, I will slowly share the rest!
