[Ukinami Yuzuha Cosplay] Zenless Zone Zero Alice Summer Pool Cool Special

The Summer pool water-themed photoshoot set featuring Ukinami Yuzuha Cosplay and Alice Cosplay from Zenless Zone Zero is finally ready. For this shoot, we chose an indoor set constructed with a blue Summer pool and transparent inflatable chairs, aiming to recreate a refreshing vacation vibe that fits Zenless Zone Zero's distinctive urban streetwear aesthetic. During the preparation stage, beyond routine wig trimming and custom tailoring, I spent considerable effort on accessories and fine details.

Ukinami Yuzuha's outfit features very bright, lively colors: a white sleeveless athletic tank top paired with a tiered pink miniskirt, offering great mobility while staying lightweight. The green tactical waist pouch and circular chest pendant not only serve as key elements faithful to the character lore, but also provide just the right visual contrast in the overall color palette. The fluffy white animal ears on the headband paired with a vibrant golden ponytail brought out the character's charming, perky aura.

Meanwhile, Alice Cosplay presents an entirely different techwear aesthetic. Her iconic vibrant red hair is styled into two long braids, topped with retro sunglasses accented with heart embellishments on her forehead, paired with a white small-collar top and athletic booty shorts. The black choker around her neck and black tactical harness adorned with yellow ball ornaments immensely enriched the upper body's layered texture. The tailoring fits the silhouette closely, maintaining the character's imposing presence while exhibiting crisp, clean lines. That combination of techwear up top and refreshing shorts below was perfect for shooting Summer pool scenes.

During shooting, we utilized transparent inflatable sofas as our core prop. This transparent material with ripple sheens interacted with blue reflectors and ground water reflections, creating an exquisite refraction effect making it look as though one were sitting right upon crystal-clear water. To ensure our wigs and base makeup stayed immaculate under intense studio lighting, we constantly touched up with loose powder and hairspray between takes. Sitting on the transparent sofa in this attire required careful posture to avoid creasing the garments while angling waistlines and long legs toward the lens—a true workout for stamina and muscle control.

In terms of action design, we explored diverse interactions leveraging the props. In several frames, Alice leaned back casually in the transparent chair with legs extended naturally in a White tights cosplay aesthetic, holding an apple to project a relaxed, languid comfort. Meanwhile, Ukinami Yuzuha stood beside her pointing forward or posed behind shading her eyes from the light; our front-and-back positioning preserved compositional depth while capturing distinct personality dynamics through body language.

I'm very satisfied with the crystal-clear blue color grading of this final set. Blending techwear with poolside leisure captures that effortless yet combat-ready gap moe typical of characters in Zenless Zone Zero. I truly enjoyed interacting with the props throughout this shoot. Capturing candid, relaxed states in a water-themed scene breathes far more vitality into the photos than rigid static poses. Placing sci-fi anime characters into slice-of-life settings reveals a much more vivid side of their personalities. It was a seamless studio experience, and huge thanks to my partner for her flawless teamwork in making every pose look cohesive and natural.
