For this Azur Lane Midsummer Cool Festival 2026 port photoshoot in Azur Lane, I chose this pink Bunny girl cosplay styling. To suit the party theme, the studio was arranged with an abundance of retro elements: deep-red velvet sofas, black-and-white checkered floors, antique luggage cases, and a disco ball nearby dialed the festive ambiance all the way up.

Regarding the wardrobe, I chose a pink bodysuit spliced with white lace trim along the neckline, waist, and skirt hem, accented with lace-up cutout details down the center. While it looks delightfully sweet, during actual shooting I paid close attention to the tension of the waist drawstrings—if tied too tightly, holding seated poses for extended periods becomes agonizing, so I left a bit of leeway. On my head, in addition to the pink-and-white bunny ears, I added a pair of dark horns to lend the silhouette an extra touch of fantasy dimension. The lower half featured White stockings and garters, coordinated with pink high heels to establish a cohesive color palette. For hair, I wore a long straight silver-white wig with blunt bangs, while the makeup emphasized reddish-toned eyeshadow and nose tip contouring.

The shooting location was genuinely a test of lighting. Background lightbox pillars and wine cabinets provided warm-yellow spatial depth; to prevent the red, pink, and white tones from clashing in the frame, I constantly calibrated the angle of light hitting my face with the photographer. For instance, in the shot sitting on the sofa taking a selfie with dice, to portray a relaxed, carefree party mood, I deliberately didn't hold my posture rigidly upright, but leaned to the side, shifting my center of gravity onto one leg, allowing the oversized yellow die in hand to visually clash with the pink bow on my chest.

In the other sofa compositions, I tried extending my body along the diagonals of the frame, because the White stockings created a striking visual contrast against the red velvet, and stretching my legs forward naturally elongated the lines. The shot hugging the pillow was meant to soften the overall aura, using a gentle posture to neutralize the intense impact of the red-and-black color blocking in the backdrop.

Truth be told, wearing this outfit during the midsummer event, paired with the heavy silver-white wig and headpieces under baking studio lamps, made the perceived temperature skyrocket. Throughout the session, I constantly blotted shine with tissue paper and touched up setting powder. But seeing how the pink fabric rendered exquisite texture and delicate transitions between light and shade in the raw captures made all the adjustments and sweltering heat worthwhile. I am deeply pleased with how this Lady Tian cosplay look came together in the retro setting, and repeatedly refining light, shadow, and posture throughout the shoot served as a fantastic exercise in visual expression.
