For this set of Ankha cosplay photos, the core concept was the fusion of divine aura and Ancient Egyptian cosplay elements. For makeup and hair, a bright blue short wig was paired with yellow geometric headpieces, while pink eyeshadow and magenta contact lenses perfectly captured the character's cool yet enigmatic expression.
For the costume, I chose a white robe with excellent drape. This style can be quite unforgiving on body proportions, so an expansive wide-collar necklace and an emerald-inlaid chest pendant were used to ground the visual weight. The golden loop buckles and corset around the waist, along with golden bracers on both arms, provided a brilliant highlight against the predominantly white palette while showcasing the metallic craftsmanship of ancient Egyptian design. A high slit paired with lace stitching at the hem added rich layering, and this tasteful skin-baring cut suited the character's original persona wonderfully.
Scene staging took considerable effort. Deep blue starry-sky patterned velvet was chosen for the backdrop, creating an atmosphere of being beneath the vast celestial dome. The golden radiating sunburst structure in the background served as the visual centerpiece, which, along with golden drapes on both sides, created the radiant glow of a descending deity. The white bird props and vintage books on the floor also introduced elements where still life and mythology intertwine in this Anime cosplay setting.
During the actual shoot, because the entire styling went barefoot, we had to be very mindful of ground textures. When shifting poses on the starry cloth, my soles frequently rubbed against the fabric grain, but to capture that ethereal, otherworldly elegance, I insisted on posing barefoot. The pose in Photo 2—sitting down and raising a hand in harmony with the Divine white dove styling—precisely captured the character's haughty yet graceful allure. Seeing the light reflect off the gold foil onto my face in the camera display made every bit of effort worthwhile.
In truth, for cosplays with a divine concept, the greatest challenge often lies not in the garment itself, but in prop coordination and atmosphere building. Getting the positioning, lighting, and post-processing integration of halo radiance and ambient light just right is what delivers real texture. The final photos faithfully realized my initial vision for this Blue hair, white robe character, making for a truly complete photoshoot experience.
