Crafting this classic everyday outfit required much more energy than expected to conquer the details. To faithfully recreate Violet Evergarden's iconic look from Violet Evergarden, pattern-making and tailoring became the first major challenges. Especially for the blue short jacket, the shoulders needed a structured, crisp shape, and the stitching placement for the brown leather buckles was adjusted repeatedly. The fine vertical stripes on the white long dress required precise printing, and the deep red-brown ribbon splicing on both sides and front allowed for zero error, otherwise the visual weight would lose balance. For fabric selection, I specifically chose materials closer to the anime setting's texture—both offering a soft luster under indoor lights and possessing enough weight to let the skirt hem drape naturally.

Regarding makeup and styling, this light golden wig took a lot of thought. Violet's short hairstyle seems simple, but trimming layers with soft, subtle curves really tested trimming techniques. Beyond trimming the bangs, I thinned out the hair ends slightly to make the overall look lighter and more natural. Testing wig colors against skin tone, a fairer foundation was chosen to create her distinct porcelain-white skin texture, paired with clear blue contact lenses to capture that focused, slightly distant gaze upon first meeting.

The shooting day was actually tougher than anticipated. We had to find clean compositions amid the crowd at an outdoor plaza. Although the overhead grid skylight provided uniform natural light, it added slight difficulty to color grading. Prop stability was key to the shoot—that large umbrella with white ruffles along the edge and a blue-sky-and-white-clouds printed lining, along with this brown briefcase, served as indispensable soul props for the character's look. Despite the wind, holding the umbrella steady made my entire aura feel elevated. The photographer understood the emotions I wanted to express, capturing many naturally relaxed moments. To tap into the character's state from the story—mechanically precise yet newly encountering human emotion—I kept my facial expressions controlled throughout, avoiding forced smiles and instead conveying inner peace through focused eyes and a straight stance.

When portraying the Auto Memories Doll setting, I intentionally reduced redundant body movements. For example, when holding the briefcase, the body posture maintained a slightly forward-leaning yet stable stance, matching her former military habits. I tied the boot laces extra tight to achieve a crisp look; pairing them with chunky heels not only lengthened leg proportions but also produced crisp footsteps while moving, immersing me further into character.

During post-processing, we didn't use excessive smoothing or high sharpening, instead preserving the authentic texture of skin tone and clothing fabrics. This Cosplay photoshoot set didn't intentionally force strong contrast, but used soft light to build a vintage, quiet atmosphere for Atmospheric cosplay. To achieve this, we shot many different angles in composition. Using the umbrella and briefcase as foreground or visual focal points guided viewers' eyes to concentrate better on the character. Though the whole process was time- and energy-consuming, seeing the final images freeze that gentleness and dedication made it immensely satisfying.
