From preparation to finally wearing it, a lot of thought went into polishing the details of this Velina costume. The main deep blue fabric has a slightly elastic texture, and the tailoring fits the body shape very well, especially the waist-cinching design, which outlines the curves nicely. The hollow-out part at the neckline and the golden piped decorations are the visual highlights of the entire outfit; during production, I deliberately chose golden accessories with a slightly distressed feel so they wouldn't look cheap under strong light. The white piecing at the cuffs and skirt hem provides great layering when moving.

In terms of makeup and styling, to recreate Velina's silver-white twin-tails, I chose a specially groomed wig, using hair wax and setting spray to repeatedly adjust the direction of the hair strands, ensuring they wouldn't look messy when the wind blew during shooting. Wearing elf ears is a technical skill that requires professional skin wax and special-effect glue for edge blending, so that a natural skin tone transition can be presented in close-up shots. For the eye makeup, I intensified the blending at the outer corners of the eyes, paired with light-colored colored contact lenses, attempting to recreate the character's lazy yet slightly mysterious temperament.

The lower-body pairing this time is a pair of translucent stockings with white patterns. To find one with the right texture, I compared several materials and finally chose this one. It not only flatters the leg lines very well, but also presents a subtle silky sheen under the light, paired with the pair of silver sequined high heels on my feet, it can well elongate the lower body proportions. The heel height of the high heels is about 10 centimeters, and wearing them for a long time is indeed a bit tiring, but in front of the lens, in order to tense the calf muscle lines and present a better visual effect, it is still necessary to keep the instep vertical.

The shooting location was chosen in this wooden structure sunroom. The abundant green plants, retro green wooden drawer cabinets, and the wooden long table in the scene all fit Velina's clothing style very well. The photographer is very professional in controlling light and shadow; we mainly utilized the natural light streaming in through the windows in the afternoon. This side-backlighting can cast a rim light on the hair strands while making the deep blue tone of the clothing look fuller. I sat on the rattan chair, trying to relax my body, gently caressing the back of my head with one hand while the other hand rested naturally on my legs, looking straight into the lens. To better showcase the body curves, I repeatedly adjusted my sitting posture before shooting, such as the angle of crossed legs, ensuring the leg lines looked most relaxed and stretched in the lens.

Throughout the shooting process, we tried many different composition methods. Sometimes we used foreground plants as obstruction to increase the layering of the frame; sometimes we used an easel as a background to enhance the artistic atmosphere. The texture of the original photos is fantastic, requiring no excessive post-processing, retaining the natural skin texture and the detailed texture of the clothing. Velina's personality itself carries a unique aesthetic, and in the process of recreating her, I focused more on conveying this trait through body language. I hope everyone, while enjoying this set of photos, can also feel the effort we put into the preparation process.
