Today I'm sharing the finished Cissia Cosplay photoset from Zenless Zone Zero. This set of photos was shot in an abandoned warehouse; the moment I saw this location, I felt it matched the character's vibe perfectly. Speaking of this styling, the most eye-catching part is definitely the pink-and-black combat suit. The pink halter top features the N.E.P.S. lettering printed across the chest; during crafting, multiple layers of lining were added to keep the shape crisp and structured. The cropped white jacket layered over it was quite a challenge to ensure it wouldn't warp during high-range movements. Moreover, the black leather gloves and lettered wristbands reflect a tremendous amount of meticulous attention to detail.
To capture the character's blend of danger and languid charm, I purposely intensified the reddish flush around my eyes, and red contact lenses were an absolute must. The hair was meticulously sculpted strand by strand by the stylist; the two white fluffy ball hair ornaments look simple, but actually required multiple bobby pins to secure firmly, and I was terrified they'd fall off during the shoot. Managing the wig also took considerable time, especially the bangs, which required repeated trimming to hug the facial contours. The lower half features a black pleated skirt paired with a waist corset, alongside this set of black stockings and Marten boots. To be honest, walking around the warehouse in these high-heeled boots and climbing up onto that rusty large iron drum truly tested my balance. Fortunately, the resulting visual outcome was deeply satisfying, and the texture of the Stockings cosplay came through with exquisite detail under the lens—especially the cut-out strapped design along the thighs, which is striking. That day, the warehouse was quite sweltering, leaving me drenched in sweat after finishing a set, but seeing the final photos made every bit of hardship worth it.
Regarding posing, I tried my best to lean into the character's poised, effortless, and unconstrained vibe—such as sitting on the drum touching my hair, resting my chin on my hand while gazing into the lens, or simply crossing my legs. The photographer completely understood the style I was aiming for, keeping the camera angle mostly eye-level or slightly low-angle, which not only elongated my legs but gave the subject a more commanding presence in the frame. The lighting designer also employed hard lighting to sculpt the contours, intensifying the overall industrial aesthetic. Before bringing this Game character cosplay to life, I intentionally reviewed numerous background lore pieces and preview leaks to dissect her personality. I believe that cosplay isn't merely throwing on a costume and striking a few poses; more importantly, it's about conveying the soul and unique drive of the character. Although the process is tiring with so much preparation required, being able to interpret a beloved character in my own way is genuinely a joyful experience. That concludes today's share, and I hope everyone enjoys this set of photos!
