Putting on this Honkai Impact 3rd Vita cosplay outfit, I repeatedly confirmed the details from the makeup and styling to the accessories. The grey-green wig was specially trimmed with fluffy layers, using the side bangs to flatter my face shape. The blue and white headpiece on top is layered with a bow tie, requiring angle adjustments during the shoot to be fully displayed. This time, I kept the base makeup as matte as possible, choosing a cool grey-brown eyeshadow that matches the costume's color scheme. Paired with a slender, sharply drawn eyeliner, it makes my gaze look more focused in front of the lens, corresponding perfectly to Vita's temperament for this Anime-style makeup look.
The black-and-blue slim-fit armor features an imitation metal coating on its surface, creating a subtle light-refracting effect under the studio lights. The silver-white inlay design on the chest paired with the high collar basically restores the modeling structure in the game. The asymmetrical arm warmers, black half-finger gloves, and the golden ornaments at the waist are all highlights of the entire costume. Under the high-slit skirt hem, it is paired with asymmetrical flesh-toned tights and black high heels, making the entire look highly recognizable whether in a studio shoot or at a convention.
In the medium close-up view of picture two, I wanted to present the character's calm and slightly indifferent gaze. Although the mirror selfie in picture three couldn't fit the entire long trailing back hem into the frame, you can see the actual drape of this outfit in motion. When turning or walking, the decorations at the waist sway slightly. Throughout the subsequent shooting process, I continuously adjusted the flow of the wig and the position of the hair accessories, coordinating with the tilt of my shoulders to prevent the headpiece from being squished or deformed. I tried focusing on the eyes while lightly resting my hand on the collar to find the most natural state at that moment. After testing several lighting setups, we finally settled on a combination of top lighting and side rim lighting. The difficulty of recreating this outfit lies in its numerous components, which took a lot of time to adjust before the shoot. Bringing a 2D game character into the 3D world is indeed challenging, but the final presentation for this Cosplay photography session is quite satisfying, fitting beautifully into the Elysian Realm theme.
