This time, I took on the office concept for Demon Lord Owari. When receiving the premise, I kept contemplating how to synthesize the sharp efficiency of a corporate workplace with the wicked allure of a demon lord. An office space can feel quite confined and mundane—easily turning into something utterly ordinary—yet introducing exaggerated fantasy props creates instant gap appeal.
In terms of styling, I deliberately picked a light blonde wig accented with a thick side braid to lend a mature, sophisticated presence. The most challenging and visually striking elements were undeniably the glossy black horns atop my head. To project the demon lord's sheer intimidating presence, the horns were crafted on a grand scale, adorned with metal pentagram rings and purple feather charms. Those violet feathers popped vibrantly against the muted office tones, injecting an air of mysticism. The pointed elf ears were semi-contoured, fitting snugly; paired with aggressive, reddish eye makeup, the commanding career woman vibe was firmly established.
For the wardrobe, I selected a slim-fit black sleeveless top and a high-waisted pencil miniskirt. This solid black core office outfit sculpted the figure impeccably without distracting patterns, letting sleek professionalism take center stage. To echo the cool, glamorous atmosphere, I wore sheer black stockings paired with pointed-toe black high heels. Black stockings are truly the ultimate weapon for elevating presence—when light cascades across them, the leg lines flow flawlessly.
Throughout the shoot, the photographer and I collaborated closely on movement details. To shatter stale office stereotypes, we designed dynamic poses packed with tension. For instance, sitting back in a swivel chair with legs propped casually on the edge of the desk, hands clasped naturally—a supremely confident, almost arrogant posture perfectly suited for a demonic executive. Or crossing my legs while twirling a ballpoint pen, locking my gaze straight into the lens, exuding overwhelming dominance and control. In another shot, I perched directly on the desk, one hand steadying a horn while the other held a laptop, accessorized with glasses to create that delightful contrast of: 'I may be a demon lord, but I still have to clock in today.'
I also tested a single-knee kneeling stance, resting one hand on a blue document folder; this low angle made my aura look vastly more powerful. Holding the folder emblazoned with 'STRIVE FOR ONE'S DREAM' to mask half my face while winking toward the camera, I aimed to convey a flirtatious yet dangerous edge.
Lighting played a paramount role throughout the session. The natural ambient lighting of the office tilted cool and pale, so we introduced additional side-backlights to chisel the contours of the black stockings and heels with precision, while highlighting the glossy specular sheen of the dark horns. From aesthetic styling to physical poses, every frame of this collection strove to interpret the distinct charisma of a corporate demon sovereign. Radiating effortless poise and total command of the room was the exact essence I aimed to articulate through cosplay.
