Today, I am sharing the completed photo set of Blue Archive Kisaki in her 5th Anniversary dress.

The gown's design features extraordinary dimensional tiers. The core body is crafted from black sheer tulle dusted with delicate micro-shimmer that catches the studio lighting with subtle, shimmering glints. The shoulder and decolletage area features generous open cutouts framed by black puff sleeves, accented along the waistline by an eye-catching blue rose blossom. To complement this styling, I wore a deep navy wig styled into classic double buns crowned with butterfly hairpieces. The makeup focused on soft blush and defined eye shading, aiming to evoke an aloof yet gently languid aura.

The studio set was steeped in vintage elegance. Against a clean white wall backdrop, we arranged wooden tables and chairs, an antique gramophone, and a classical violin. To harmonize with the overall tone, I wore Black stockings and black patent leather high heels—elements I personally adore. In terms of pose design, we explored diverse postures: in the first frame, sitting sideways on the wooden chair holding a teacup while looking back over the shoulder demanded an upright spine to showcase graceful back contours, with the teacup lending an air of composed refinement. In the second frame, sitting on the rug with the voluminous hem fanned out and legs crossed sideways, lifting the hemline gently exposed leg lines to bring breathability to the composition.

The third frame is my personal favorite: leaning against the wooden chair with one leg raised, resting my foot on the chair's edge. This posture not only elongated leg proportions, but also exquisitely highlighted the rich textures of the Black stockings and glossy patent leather pumps. Maintaining balance was essential—resting one hand naturally across the backrest while keeping a resolute, unhurried gaze locked onto the lens. For lighting, bright studio strobes were calibrated to preserve the intricate fabric textures and garment details.

The dress had an extensive trailing train, requiring an assistant's help to reposition during movement and posture shifts. Whenever shooting gowns with voluminous tulle and complex ornaments, smoothing out details demands considerable patience, yet the finished frames made every second worthwhile. I hope everyone enjoys this subtly Gothic vintage 5th Anniversary look. This session also deepened my understanding of using ambient props to enrich visual storytelling. I look forward to sharing more shooting experiences in future projects.
