Recreating the costume characteristics of Silent Suzuka requires capturing several core elements. First is the long orange hair; to ensure even bangs and the overall silkiness of the hair strands, considerable time was spent trimming and grooming beforehand. Second, for makeup, a highly translucent base was chosen and paired with large-diameter green contact lenses, which are key to recreating the character's gaze. The eye makeup avoided deliberately elongating the eye shape, instead focusing on deepening the outer corners and lower lashline to draw visual focus onto the green pupils, looking much more vibrant. Regarding the costume, a white shirt paired with a green sailor collar is the classic configuration, with bright yellow-gold trim along the collar edge adding crisp structure. The green spheres and the green-trimmed white headband of the headwear are indispensable elements. On the day of the shoot, natural light was used; the afternoon sunlight cast diagonally across, adding depth to the costume's green hues and making the white appear purer. In terms of pose design, the first photo tried looking back over the shoulder while guiding the gaze with a raised hand; the second photo faced the lens directly, utilizing centered composition paired with clean eye contact. I ultimately selected the second photo as the cover because the expression is more focused, free from edge cropping, and features smoother lighting transitions. From costumes and makeup to post-processing color grading, everything strived to preserve the character's original style, using a clean, blurred outdoor background to make the subject stand out. Throughout the entire process, capturing the character's quiet and focused demeanor meant avoiding exaggerated expressions, conveying inner subtleties through a serene gaze, hoping to bring everyone a more authentic presentation.
