[Nahida Cosplay] Genshin Impact: A Refreshing Moment in the Green Forest - Image 1

I happen to be sorting out this set of photos from today's studio shoot. This Nahida makeup and styling look has been in preparation for a while, and quite a bit of thought went into everything from the wig styling to the fine-tuning of the costume details.

The wig features a silver-white gradient with a hint of mint green, and the curve of the side ponytail was repeatedly adjusted using a curling iron and styling spray. For the elf ears, I selected a pair with a high fit and treated the edges with scar wax so that the transition looks more natural on camera. In terms of makeup, since the character itself leans toward a cool and agile feel, the eye makeup was kept relatively light, blended mostly with pink and brown tones. The lip color was also chosen as a natural brightening shade, primarily emphasizing a clean and soft atmosphere.

The structure of this outfit is quite rich. The upper body features a light green ruffled tube top paired with lace stitching, and the golden sun pendant in the center is the finishing touch. The waist is paired with an apron-style fabric featuring vine patterns, stitched with gold thread for a delicate texture. The semi-translucent tulle streamers on the shoulders are relatively long, requiring special handling during the shoot to arrange them into flowing or draping shapes. The clothing materials were chosen to be lightweight, such as the ruffles on the chest, the satin lining, and the lace on the skirt hem, providing an excellent sense of drape and three-dimensionality when walking or posing. The leg ring is styled with intertwined vines and leaves, perfectly fitting the forest elf setting.

This studio shoot was chosen at Kasumi Studio, where the set primarily highlights a natural and green theme. The background is a large light yellow-green gradient backdrop. In the bottom left corner, the photographer arranged faux moss, ferns, white small flowers, and a short white railing, which together create a miniature vibe of the Sumeru rainforest. The lighting by photographer @JiujiujiuShiYue was extremely soft without harsh shadows, perfectly rendering the translucent quality of the skin tone and the costume. Using a bouquet as a prop also added some compositional space for interaction. The lightweight tulle streamers on the shoulders heavily tested our grooming during the shoot; any slight tilt or wrinkle would affect the overall flowing elegance. To match this agile feel, the photographer directed many half-body medium shots, such as touching the head lightly with the right hand and holding flowers in the left hand, which nicely avoided cluttered elements in the frame and focused the gaze on facial features and upper-body details.

While sorting out this set of images, I recall the details of holding the bouquet and adjusting poses on the day of the shoot. Although the studio was quite stuffy and hot, seeing the final photos makes it all feel worthwhile. I hope to recreate that image of her smiling gently amidst the greenery in everyone's minds. Along the way, I've also summarized some styling tips for outdoor or studio shoots of elf-style characters, hoping to help fellow enthusiasts. This combination of elf ears, light hair colors, and large areas of tulle elements actually heavily tests the lighting; without the soft studio lighting of Kasumi Studio, it would be difficult to capture the skin's translucent quality. Given the chance in the future, I'd like to experiment more with different styling styles and color tones.
