"Nothing today, reading a little book." This was the core theme of this shoot, focusing on casualness and daily life. Instead of choosing an outdoor setting full of magical impact, we set up a wooden cabin full of vintage charm.

Regarding outfit preparation, the black-and-white maid-style dress formed the baseline of this look. The wide white ruffle hat, trimmed with black lace ruffles along the edge, created great visual layering. Long golden hair braided into two thick pigtails resting on my chest complemented the hat's curve wonderfully. The brown vintage leather pouch at the waist was a highlight, and black fingerless wrist gloves added a sense of capability and practicality without losing cuteness. The thick brown lace-up Martin boots on my feet, paired with the black-and-white skirt hem, not only provided visual balance but also gave the character's silhouette a more three-dimensional feel.

For props, a green-covered aged book and a long-handled straw broom were essential elements. We didn't deliberately portray a combat state this time; instead, we treated the green book as a vessel of leisure—sometimes resting on my head to block light, sometimes covering my face for a nap. The broom leaning against the sofa side added narrative depth to the image, like a magician resting peacefully after a hard day's work.

In terms of pose and posture design, we intentionally avoided intense standing or spellcasting actions, pursuing instead a lazy sense of relaxation. I sank lazily into the dark blue vintage leather sofa, letting myself sink in; or sat on the floor, leaning against the sofa edge; or even lied flat on the black-and-white checkered floor tiles, facing upward with arms stretched toward the ceiling. This defenseless posture fit the "reading a little book" vibe perfectly. Expressions in these photos focus on a comfortable feeling of immersing in one's own little world without needing to hold a rigid pose.

In scene selection, this vintage cabin provided an excellent background foundation. Wooden louvered windows, dark wooden cabinets, a dark blue sofa with metallic rivet edges, along with woven bags and dried flower bouquets stacked casually by the shelves, enriched the space with texture. The photographer had great lighting ideas: a black-framed vintage glass lantern emitted warm yellow light that intertwined with the environment's dark tones, creating a cozy and narrative-rich light and shadow effect. This alternating warm and cool lighting saved the photos from flat monotony, adding depth and layering.

Through this set, I wanted to express my understanding of another side of the character. Often when cosplaying, we unconsciously look for the character's highlight or combat moments, but restoring their daily side—quiet, casual, even slightly lazy—is also a very genuine 2D expression. No excessive ornamentation or over-exaggerated expressions needed; just purely enjoying quiet personal time in this age-toned room.

The shooting process was very relaxing, and collaboration with the photographer was seamless. We tried some high-angle and low-angle perspectives rarely used, gaining many unexpectedly fun compositions. The overall emotion rendered in the final set was unified—that quiet feeling of sitting in a corner of time. Hope everyone likes this photo set and feels the dedicated peaceful emotion I wanted to convey in this work.
