When we shot this set, it was right in the middle of the afternoon. Although the sun was strong, the early winter breeze was still refreshing enough to wake you up. It happened to be around Christmas Eve, and you could already feel a bit of a festive atmosphere on the streets.
Regarding the wardrobe, I have always liked this kind of design that is both concrete and full of everyday life feel. The deep navy blue cinched coat with white piping on the cuffs colliding with the red-and-white checkered scarf makes for a particularly striking image, and it's highly wearable too. To preserve the character's style from Fate/Grand Order, a pleated skirt was chosen for the base, paired with over-the-knee socks and buckled high-heeled ankle boots. Although the overall look is very preppy, it actually brings out a lot of cool vibes. The white wig looks clean and transparent against the black-rimmed glasses, showing an unexpectedly great texture under the strong light.
The shooting itself was actually quite spontaneous. We found a street corner with metal railings, a roadside bench, and a pedestrian overpass. The model's state was incredibly relaxed—resting a hand on the railing or looking down to adjust the scarf, these natural movements perfectly matched that lazy winter mood. It's worth mentioning that the highlights and shadows that day were very intense; the grid shadows on the ground and the elongated silhouettes perfectly enhanced the frame's sense of space. The greatest joy of a real street snap lies in capturing casual light, shadow, and wind. Although the wind can make things a bit messy, it actually makes the atmosphere of the entire photoshoot more vivid.
For this type of character, while accuracy is certainly important, I think what is even more precious is making the audience feel that the character has her own "everyday time" through the shoot. What the camera freezes is not just the outfit, but also the emotion and mindset of a certain moment. This set of photos definitely achieved my ideal results.
