[Castorice Cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail, the Secret Realm of an Elf in the Purple-Lit Temple

This set of Castorice's finished photos has finally been sorted out. While looking at the previews, I couldn't help but admire how this outfit, interweaving pure white and deep purple, truly fits the high-key purple atmosphere in the studio. Since the character's setting is inherently filled with a cold, detached, and slightly profound trait, we also focused heavily on amplifying the calmness in her eyes rather than a simple smile during the shoot. The combination of the thorn accessory and flower petals on the head is the highlight of the entire look; it sways slightly with movements, adding a dynamic sense of narrative to the static photos.
The material of the costume is very exquisite. Large areas of white combined with deep purple panels create a strong sense of layering, especially the spliced design of the leg leggings and shoes, which elongates the overall silhouette in front of the lens. Paired with the pointed elf ears and long silver-white hair, it visually offers an exotic aesthetic belonging to a fantasy world, which is also one of the reasons I love this character so much.
The staging this time felt exceptionally ceremonial. White gauze draperies, Roman columns, angel statues, birdcages, and that diamond-shaped prop floating in the air—these elements combined together completely created the vibe of a serene temple. The purple ambient light didn't fully discolor the white gauze; instead, it made the entire space appear more translucent and sacred, while also perfectly bringing out the texture of the subject's skin and hair strands.
Several sets of poses were captured during the shoot, such as looking back while holding a bouquet, reaching out to touch that blue phantom butterfly fluttering its wings, or striking an elegant sitting pose on the fabric surface. The photographer perfectly grasped the rhythm when capturing these moments, especially the one looking back, where the eyes and shoulder lines presented a very comfortable arc without looking stiff.
In conclusion, this shoot—from makeup and styling to scene coordination, and further to lighting control—tried its best to fit the character's intrinsic first impression. Being able to record a beloved character in this manner is a highly fulfilling achievement for me. I will continue to work hard in the future, hoping to exhibit more facets of the character through different compositions and emotions.
