Let's dive straight into sharing this photoshoot of the after-school Ori-chan summer uniform. The theme setting for this shoot was highly defined—it was entirely done with the vibe of "Today is a date with Master." Compared to the winter look, this summer uniform carries a touch more lightness. After removing the jacket and changing into the dark blue knit vest, the overall look feels much cleaner and closer to everyday life. Actually, in the initial conceptualization of the setting, I even thought about whether I should really go and kick a vending machine. Though it wasn't implemented in the end, that indeed represents the slight, casual rebelliousness and delinquent edge inherently in her bones. Here, I also want to remind all the good kids out there never to copy this—damaging public property in real life is absolutely not allowed!

Regarding the details of this costume, it features a classic Japanese school style configuration: a white shirt paired with a wine-red tie, with the tie pulled slightly loose to present that lazy and casual state after school. The white piping and embroidered school badge on the jacket are finely made, and paired with the gray pleated skirt and black over-the-knee socks, along with black uniform leather shoes, it looks highly sleek visually. The silver-gray short hair, combined with that highly recognizable cowlick (ahoge), looks exceptionally vivid in the evening breeze. To fit this "date" theme, I deliberately avoided staring directly into the lens, trying my best to showcase a sense of relaxation as if just doing my own things during an ordinary date. Whether sitting on the railing looking at my phone, naturally bringing the phone to my ear, or drinking water and resting during transition intervals, I hoped to exude a casual sense of companionship.

In terms of photography, the venue was chosen on a pedestrian bridge and an elevated walkway right during the dusk Blue Hour. The sky presented a deep, profound blue-purple hue, weaving a charming interplay of warm and cool tones with the city's emerging neon lights. The water surface in the background and the light trails of the traffic on the elevated bridge were beautifully blurred into gorgeous bokeh by the lens. This ambient atmosphere matches perfectly with this predominantly cool-toned uniform, especially the red and white stripes on the knit vest and the wine-red tie, which inject a touch of warmth into the chilly urban background. The photographer's snapshots were also excellently timed, particularly the moment when the wind blew and messed up my bangs and hair strands, perfectly matching the sense of freedom and slight exhaustion after school.

This setting itself is very interesting; putting a character into urban streets full of everyday life brings a stronger sense of storytelling than simple studio shoots. Although I didn't actually kick any machines in the photos, that everyday life of wandering aimlessly, feeling the breeze, and making phone calls after school is closer to life itself. I focus quite heavily on the atmospheric feel during shoots, not pursuing overly complex poses, but simply wanting to naturally convey this summer dusk date vibe. For the post-processing tones, I didn't heavily re-grade the colors; I just slightly lowered the shadows to highlight the character subject while preserving the original texture of the urban nightscape. This allows the clothing material to be clearly seen while blending seamlessly into the environment. The cooperation with the photographer during this shoot felt like a relaxed walk, completely seizing the best performance state of this summer uniform look with excellent cosplay photography execution.
