When planning this transfer student JK uniform set, I wanted to capture a fresh yet vibrant atmosphere of someone newly arrived.

The wig features a silver-white base with a soft teal-blue gradient at the ends, making it distinct and refreshing. The outfit pairs a crisp white long-sleeved sailor shirt with a teal plaid ribbon and a grey-and-white plaid pleated skirt for a classic Japanese campus style that perfectly suits a student look. White over-the-knee stockings with dark brown uniform loafers add a cheerful energy while visually lengthening leg proportions.

To complement the composition, I carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas and pinkish-white roses, which echoes the blue wig tips for a cohesive color palette. Photographer @勇者(恩师猫拒) chose a wonderful classroom set—complete with a blackboard, globe, and wooden desks—that infused the shots with storytelling depth. Capturing the ideal transfer student expressions took quite a bit of subtle adjustment.

The heterochromia contacts gave us a few funny moments during the shoot. As dual-colored lenses rotate, maintaining a clear gaze can be tricky, especially when trying to look serene or emotional. The contacts kept spinning, causing the photographer to laugh out loud behind the lens! This fun contrast kept the mood relaxed and left us with memorable behind-the-scenes memories.

Posing-wise, I experimented with holding the collar, playfully lifting one leg, or placing hands near my face like a cute cat gesture—balancing her sweetness with her gentle temperament. Indoor classroom shoots in short skirts and stockings require some stamina, but the lighting texture in the final shots turned out great. Adjusting the lighting angles brought out crisp details in the pleated skirt and wig strands, achieving a lovely contrast between a serene girl and a lively junior.

I held a rolled-up prop book rather than carrying a structured schoolbag to create a more relaxed, authentic daily look. The name 'Firefly' written in chalk on the blackboard was a fun detail that added nostalgic story charm. This shoot let me experience a parallel-universe school life—daydreaming between classes and meeting new classmates in uniform. It was a wonderfully immersive experience!
